We gathered in front of the Church the Holy Trinity with Ms. Karine, Ms. Ruzanne Ms. Hasmik and Mr. Mikael. We got on the bus and started going to mount Ara. It was an estimated 1h and 30mins drive we got there in about an hour and 45mins due to traffic. It was 11 o’clock-ish we started to walk up to the mountain. It took us about 15-20 mins to get to the bottom of the mountain. We started our hike. We hiked for about an hour before our first break, and we are something and continued our trip. It was a very long and tiring hike. We took our second break 30 mins after our first one. And then we walked for one more hour and finally got to the top. And then some people went on the “nose” of Ara the beautiful but I didn’t because I was really exhausted we had been walking for about 4 hours.
We heard gunshots of people hunting animals whilst on the mountain .there were very beautiful plants and different sounds of animals. But it was very cold compared to Yerevan.
So we started coming down it was another long walk but since it was downhill it was faster but then again we were very tired.
So we got to the bus and went to a church (I don’t remember the name). We went inside and said our prayers and quickly got on our way back.
It was a really good trip and I feel really good that I was able to hike that much and I would never forget this trip.
